INOR CIRCUIT (Scotland/AUS) is an underground electronic music project from Iain Yes, created as a musical outlet for the faster, darker and heavier side of his musical productions. It's impossible to pin down the sound of a MINOR CIRCUIT production or set to one genre, as he pastes together cutting edge worldwide club music. With a unique sound inspired by rhythms heard in clubs and raves across the globe, combining UK Techno, Jungle, Electro, Experimental, Acid, Ghetto, Footwork, Garage and everything in between with his signature fast mixing style and a dose of turntablism. After growing up in the Highlands of Scotland and getting hooked on the sound of UK Jungle at the age of 8, he has spent over half of his life DJing, promoting and playing music at festivals, clubs and parties around the world, racking up over 1000 gigs under his various aliases in that time. After recently cutting down on djing to focus on producing music, he has just started work on composing his second movie score and has several releases under his MINOR CIRCUIT alias, on labels such as Nein Records (Berlin), Roller Blaster Records (UK), Sonik-Ino (AU) and That's Not An Edit (AU). Now often using his DJ sets to test original productions and remixes. In Australia he has played at festivals such as JUNGLE LOVE, RABBITS EAT LETTUCE, MANIFEST, EARTH FREQUENCY, BOHEMIAN BEAT FREAKS, SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS, FALLS FEST and clubs such as REVOLVER, ELSEWHERE, SASH, BONEY, SECTION 8 and more. During his career he has played alongside a diverse selection of artists including: SKIN ON SKIN, TIGA, CURSES, JFB, WILEY, RONI SIZE, KARIZMA, ANDY C, TC, JAKES, SHY FX, GROOVE ARMADA & CHASE & STATUS.
