xela rae is a Scottish-Australian DJ + producer residing on stolen Kaurna land (Adelaide, South Australia). From playing a Keep Hush live set at Electric Circus to supporting international heavyweights such as Main Phase, Coki and Infekt - xela rae has been called an emerging force to watch in the Australian underground scene. Growing up surrounded by music of all genres, they pull inspiration from their childhood mixed with a love for all things bass. Elements of Garage, Grime and Dubstep can always be found at the forefront of their sets but they are an open format DJ at heart. Expect a dark, gritty, bouncy, high-energy sound with some silly childhood nostalgia sprinkled on top.
